Tried a Cigarette After Years of Vaping – And I Literally Got Sick!

Hey vape fam, I’ve got a story to share – and it’s kinda wild.
Last weekend, I met up with some old friends who are all still loyal cigarette smokers. I used to smoke too, but since switching to vaping, I hadn’t touched a cig in ages.

So there I was, surrounded by smoke, and just to “join the vibe,” I lit one up.
Big. Mistake.

The taste was awful – like licking an ashtray mixed with chemicals. But even worse? A few minutes later, my stomach turned, and I actually threw up . Yep, for real. My body straight-up rejected it.

It’s crazy how your system changes when you’ve been off cigarettes. Vaping feels clean and controlled now, while that cigarette hit me like a toxic truck.

So I’m curious – has this happened to anyone else? Can you still smoke a cigarette occasionally, or does it feel disgusting now? Did your body also react badly after switching to vaping?

Totally the exact same feeling for me!! I haven’t smoked a “real” cigarette in maybe five years. I’ve tried to take a hit or two off one when my vape decides to play hide and seek with me (I still hold a grudge against it…the little !) Anyways, I’d rather lick a cat’s butt then smoke a cigarette ever again! I don’t know how I did it daily for so long…I started when I was 15 years old, I’m now ummm…well, old enough to not want to say how old I am!! God today is my birthday too… now I’m going to go somewhere and cry! Sorry, reality hit me for a second… I’m back! Yes, cigarettes are yucky yucky

I can’t even stand the smell of cigarettes let alone smoke one but I hear you it’s made more difficult when with a few and they all smoke and the drinks are flowing or you got cigarettes at hand and no vape it’s to tempting and I smoked for years originally and at first vaped on and off and smoked but now I think it’s due to vaping for so long away from the cigarettes I can’t go back
