Do you think you are addicted to vaping

I didn’t think much about addiction when I started vaping. I had switched from smoking, telling myself it was healthier, more manageable. But the day I forgot my vape at home, everything changed. I was at work, and within hours, I felt on edge—distracted, irritable, unable to focus. My mind kept drifting back to the thought of driving home just to retrieve it.

That was the moment I realized how much control vaping had over me. It wasn’t just a habit—it was a crutch. Every coffee break, every moment of stress, every idle second seemed to call for a puff. I started asking myself: Was I using it as a tool to cope, or had I simply swapped one addiction for another?

I wonder if others feel the same. Is it the nicotine, the ritual, or something else entirely? Have you ever felt that pull and wondered if it’s time to reassess your relationship with vaping?

I’m so sure I’m not addicted,
I can resist vaping when I want.
And I am a smoker since 11 years ago… I can refrain from smoking for 1 year. And even I once only smoked 1 cigarette in 1 year :joy:

I just love coffee, so I drink more of it!
