Are you vaping and still smoking ciggarete?

As we know vape is promoted to move away from smoking cigarettes, and there may still be many who smoke and vape.
Do you have any tips or advice for people like that?
Or to be able to stop smoking cigarettes and move to only vape?
And if what I say is wrong I need to be told the truth.
Thanks,

let’s share here.

I’m a pure vapor. I think it depends on the user’s definition of vaping. Are they trying to quit smoking or are they just trying e-cigarettes?

Hi Aguzsw! I think it’s great that you’re open to discussing this and looking for advice. Transitioning from smoking to vaping can be challenging but is definitely possible with the right mindset and approach.

Here are a few tips that might help:

  1. Find the right nicotine strength: Make sure you’re using e-liquids with a nicotine level that satisfies your cravings but isn’t too high. Gradually reduce the strength over time if your goal is to lower your nicotine intake.
  2. Choose flavors you enjoy: Sometimes finding a flavor you love can make vaping more enjoyable and help reduce the temptation to smoke.
  3. Build a routine: Replace your smoking habits with vaping at the same times or situations where you’d normally smoke. Over time, this can help shift your dependence.

It’s not an overnight process, so don’t be too hard on yourself. Every step away from smoking is a step in the right direction. You’ve got this! :muscle:

It’s great that you’re exploring ways to reduce harm and potentially quit smoking altogether. Here are some tips for transitioning from smoking to vaping—just on my own perspective.

  1. Know Your Why: Figure out why you want to quit—it’ll keep you motivated.
  2. Pick the Right Vape: Get a device that feels like smoking, and find a nicotine level that works for you. Many smokers prefer pod systems or pen-style vapes because they’re simple and provide a similar throat hit.
  3. Get Support: Let friends know your plan or join a group—support helps.
  4. Go Easy on Yourself: If you slip up, no worries—just keep at it.

It’s all about progress, not perfection. You’ve got this!

Most of my friends say they don’t find enjoyment in vaping.
I don’t know why, but
I think it’s because the money and the device can support what they want from vaping.
For money, they can spend 1/3 of their salary just to buy a ciggarete. And they won’t try other devices or eliqs. Because they only use what their friends have

I am currently attempting to quit cigarettes. I have the xros nano 3 and needed more of a throat hit so i picked up the Armor G recently. Im down to half a pack (from more than a pack a day) and vaping to supplement. Goal is to get off cigarettes completely. 25 year smoker so im going slow as this is not my first time trying to quit and im really stressing.

Using vape as a good and easily consistent way to get rid of smoking!

An actual group in real life can be super helpful, but yeah, it’s hard to locate one offline. My cousin organized a group with his uni friends, and as far as I know, they’re all motivating and checking in on each other.

Easy for you, but for another people?

That sounds really cool, being able to create a group like it.
