I want to chat with you guys about something that’s been on a lot of vapers’ minds: the future of disposable e-cigarettes in the US. With more and more rules coming down the line, and the possibility of these products being banned.
The California bill would ban the sale or distribution of new or refurbished disposable vapes in the state, beginning January 1, 2026, [reported ABC News]. “The proposal would allow local governments or the state to fine people $500 for their first violation of the ban, $1,000 for their second infringement and $2,000 for subsequent offenses.”
It is already happening here in the uk people will change to devices that have pre-filled pods with coils as the device itself is not a disposable it’s not classed as a disposable.
I think it depends on what you mean by a disposable e-cig. I can see the ones that don’t have pods being banned because they are just putting a ton of plastic into the waste bin. But I sure do hope those with pods can slip by. If not, I’ll have to invest in a box mod again. I don’t like messing with coils and tanks. I’d rather just have a pod I can refill. It is so much easier for me with arthritis in my hands.
It depends on how the US policy define “disposable”.
They always said this is for teenagers…but actually all these are card games ( I just imagine that TRUMP would said “you have no card to play” lol)
