How often should you switch out your device

I’m sure everyone here knows by now that devices don’t last forever! So how often should you switch out your kits?

Vape batteries (high-drain lithium batteries) are the same as your mobile phone’s. This means that for the battery life on it’s own, you’ll get about 300 charges of 100% capacity -this is around 10 months of every-day charging). After that, the capacity starts dropping, and you’ll notice that you’ll have to charge up your vape more often. I also find that after about 12 months, older devices start affecting both coil life as well as the flavour as the battery just isn’t capable of giving what you’re asking. I also notice more leaking and spitting after I’ve used the same device for about a year.

With external batteries, it’s as easy as just switching their batteries, however, I’d recommend the internal battery devices to be switched out after about a year.

When it comes to pods/tanks, in my opinion, they’ve got a similar life span. If it takes a coil, even with looking after it and cleaning it properly on a weekly, I tend to switch out my pod/tank for a new one for the freshest flavour possible.

How often do you switch out your devices? What do you do to try extend the lifespan?
