As Disposable vapes are coming to an end in the UK and more and more people are making the switch to refillable devices.
Comparing your coils with your e- juice’s is as important as choosing your coil for your style of vape.
As recommended below types of coils for MTL- RDL - and DTL
But is also important to match your e- juice to these coils for the correct wattages for best enjoyment and coil saturation.and wrong choice of coil can impact taste of juice causing too harsh ( coughing fits ) or not enough throat hit putting you off a potential great tasting juice.
Double concentrated juice also known as bar juice is what is in disposable vapes, usually use they have 50-50 or 60 -40 ratio juice this is why they taste so great and disposables only run 12-14 watts and juice last for ages. Choosing wrong coil for these juices cause you to burn through juice too fast and can alter taste or it still tastes great but it can shorten lifespan of coil.
So it is recommended double concentrated juice or salt nic juice at 50-50 or 60-40 as these are made for pod devices.
Should be used with coils from 0.8 to 1.2 the wattage ranges for these coils is between 8-16 watts. These coils are also great for beginners just starting to vape to get used to that throat hit.
Standard freebase e-juice at 60-40 to 70-30 ratios
It is recommended the coils from 0.3, 0.4 & 0.6 these range from 20 watts to 45 watts
And for 80-20 ratio it is recommended coils range 0.15 to 0.2 these range from 40 to 75 watts.
Choosing the right coil not only extends the coil life but also makes your e-liquid last longer and taste better.
Now then there is the corex technology these are for better flavour
I find if I use corex coils with double concentrated juice I find some can be too strong or too sweet on visual of these coils they have a higher base covering three side ports of coil I’d recommend using the corex coils with freebase liquids as the flavours are not as strong in freebase but these coils help bring out those hidden flavours.
And now there is the new 3.0 corex coils I expect or won’t be surprised if I could taste the bubbles in my juices with these bad boys lol.
