Anyone else loving the non-sweet flavours lately? 👀

Not sure if it’s just me, but lately I’ve been really vibing with the more subtle, clean-tasting flavours. I used to be all about the dessert bombs and sugary fruits, but after switching to a new salt nic blend (hit smooth at 18mg), I’ve been hooked on more “grown-up” profiles like iced cucumber, basil lime, and even green tea mint.

Feels like brands are finally dialing back the artificial sweetness and giving us more room to actually taste the flavour layers – and my coils are lasting way longer too, bonus!

I definitely prefer the more subtle all day vape ranges Like Wild Roots. Other great brands to try are OhmBoy (Botanics range), even some 12 Monkeys are decent and not overly sweet. Unfortunately I’m currently struggling because the GTX 0.4 coils don’t do that well on the 70/30 vape liquids, and finding a really nice 50/50 shortfall is so difficult because most of them are double concentrated which for me is way too much… I have recently tested out the Riot Squad Longfills that they’re due to release and these are pretty great actually, specially in 6mg freebase (which I find mimics the 10mg OG riot really well). I find the 3 nic shots in the long fills dull down the flavour enough for me to keep it running all day.

Need to try them out I like ohm boys liquids and would like something less sweet.

You can drop down to 0.3 coils 32-45watts or 0.2 coils 45-60 watts or the 0.15 60-75 watts for dtl for your 70-30 liquids I was using 0.4s on all my devices but switched to 0.2 for my 70-30 on my GTX Coils.

That’s super helpful, thanks for the detailed recs! I’ve actually had Wild Roots on my radar for a while but haven’t pulled the trigger – might finally give them a shot. Totally feel you on the 50/50 dilemma too… I’ve had the same issue with everything being way too intense or syrupy.

Riot Squad Longfills in 6mg freebase sound right up my alley – appreciate the heads-up! Gonna keep an eye out for those drops :eyes:

Appreciate the coil/wattage breakdown – super useful I’ve been sticking to 0.4s out of habit, but sounds like switching to 0.2 could be a game-changer for the 70/30s I’m running.

Also glad to hear someone else into OhmBoy – Botanics range is underrated! If you ever stumble on a nice clean citrus or something minty that isn’t overloaded with sweetener, hit me up!

If you look at 0.15 - 0.2 & 0.3 coils they have a wider bore for heavier liquids.

I personally would recommend for the 70-30 juice and 60-40 the 0.3 coil at 32-45w for battery endurance.

The 0.2 at 45-60w if I wanted bigger denser cloud as it’s only to increase wattage

The 0.15 60-70w for 80-20 ratio juice

But would drain battery quicker throughout the day.

The 0.4 and 0.6 for 50-50 on DTL

The difference in the coils you can see from image the 0.4 and 0.6 has a closed top and thinner only allowing the thinner juice through side ports of coil

The 0.3-0.2 and 0.15 are open top coils and broader more cotton allowing the thicker juices to be absorbed through center as well as side ports.

Not yet but look nice
