What are other people's experience of the Vaporesso Xros Pods

I’ve been using the Vaporesso Xros pods for a while now, and overall, I think they’re solid, but I’m curious to hear about other people’s experiences. How long do they last for you? For me, I typically get around a week and a half before I start noticing a drop in flavour and vapour production, but I know this can vary a lot depending on how often you vape and what e-liquid you use.

My local vape shop, Cornish Liquids, have always recommended using 50/50 e-liquids or nic salts with them to extend their lifespan. They also mentioned that thicker, high-VG juices can wear the coils out faster, which makes sense.

I’ve also noticed that chain vaping can kill the pods quicker – especially if you’re hitting it back to back without giving the wick time to re-saturate. Have you guys found any tricks to make them last longer?

Also, random question – has anyone else ever experienced a weird, muted flavour from a pod even when it’s fresh? I had one the other day that tasted off from the start, which was a bit annoying.

You can sometimes get a bad pod very rare but happens but I found this was due to filling far to quick as those pods are small and this can create an airlock not allowing the coil to saturate properly if you experience a bad pod on first fill and you have left it to saturate for 5 mins or more remove the tip and shake pod not yourself but the pod vigorously this will remove trapped air.the removal of tip lessons the vacuum inside the pod created from drawing air into pod as you vape.

I usually on first fill a new pod before placing into device cover airholes on base of pod and take a few draws this creates vacuum and sucks liquid into coil quicker then leave for 5 mins approximately to ensure coil saturation.

Tips to get full lifespan of pod use less sweeter juices to stop caramelisation 0.3 & 0.4ohm you can use 70-30 ratio all the rest use 50-50 use proper wattage never burn coil at max temp coil recommends always use at 3-5 watts lower than max.

On average a week to 10 days ( 2000 puffs use puff counter ) is the norm but can be extended depending on usage

Chain vaping seriously shortens lifespan of coil as excess heat dries coil out chain vaping doesn’t give coil time to cool and re- soak cotton in coil and if using sweat liquids the sugars caramel around coil quicker killing the coil.
