Kangertech Subox Mate D-Pod | Review

Hey guys! Recently I reviewed this Kangertech Subox D-pod on my channel. It’s like a “half-disposable” I would say as you can keep the 1150 MaH battery and just attach different disposable D-pods. They contain 40 ml of e-liquid which is quite a lot! However, they are a DTL device so that juice goes by a lot faster than you’d expect.

The device works great as a DTL product, and you can use the D-pod as a standalone device if the battery is charging. That is because the D-pod also has a 600 MaH battery in it.

Although it is nice to use the D-pod as a stand alone device, I think it kind of defeats the point of keeping the battery and throwing away the disposable portion because the disposable portion still has a fairly large battery in it.

I do find it more enjoyable to use than its sister product the Kangertech Subox Pro that has tighter restriction and uses nic salt, despite the same large size.

Let me know what you think of DTL disposables and also, products that use a battery with disposable pods!

I disslike anything that has the tag disposable

Given the reasons why disposables were banned here awesome post :+1:

Yeah true because even if the D-pod is “disposable” it still has a pretty big battery in it. And there’s not much point in the pod being used as a stand alone device. They should have just had a battery in the re-usable portion of the device :+1:

It’s a pretty pointless device if discarding pod with battery just the same as discarding whole disposable vape it would be like the pod actually powers the mod for menu maybe their way trying to get around laws banning in countries banning disposable vapes.

Good point, I think we’ll probably see more of this kind of set up because it gets around laws
