Hey guys! In this video I discuss the new trend I’ve been seeing of DTL disposables. I thought it would be interesting to compare them to larger refillable devices used for DTL like Tank mods and AIO devices.
What do you think of the disposable version of Mods, and do you think users of Larger Mod vapes would find any interest in these?
Some of the benefits I noticed of these is they are lightweight despite still producing some big clouds. You don’t have to refill these and deal with any leaking issues or mess. They are USB-C rechargeable so they don’t require 18650 batteries. The flavor is quite nice as well.
Some cons would be that they aren’t very customizable in terms of adjusting wattage or putting in the coil that you would like. On the Kangertech Subox Mate for example, you are stuck with the 0.5 coil that it comes with. Also, although they have a variety of flavors available, you can’t refill it with the many options that are on the market. With refillable mods, you can just swap out the batteries and never run out of a charge, whereas you would need to take the time to recharge these. Also, generally with larger mod devices you can customize the tanks and drip tips as well. Refillable devices really only require a one time investment other than coils and juice, whereas disposables you would have to keep repurchasing them.
Do you see a use case for these and find them interesting or do you think this adds on to the disposable waste? Or maybe both? Let me know!
