Hey everyone, I just had a close call with my e-cigarette and wanted to share what happened—plus get some advice from you all. So, I was charging my vape overnight (I know, I know, big mistake) when I heard this weird hissing sound. I ran over and unplugged it just in time—no explosion, but it definitely scared me.
This made me realize I need to be more careful. For starters, I usually just grab whatever charger is lying around. I’ve learned that’s a bad idea because overcharging can really mess with the battery. No more leaving it plugged in while I’m out either—overheating is apparently a huge risk.
Another thing: I’m guilty of tossing my vape in my bag with my keys. Didn’t think much of it until now, but I guess that could cause a short circuit. I’m also wondering if the freezing cold or sweltering heat has been affecting my battery because I’ve been leaving it in my car. Oh, and my battery’s looking a bit banged up, but I’ve been hesitant to replace it. Now I’m rethinking that.
Lastly, I’ve been tempted to try some mods, but I’m starting to second-guess whether it’s worth the risk. What do you all think? Any other tips to avoid something like this happening again? Would love to hear your stories or advice!
