So, I accidentally dropped my vape in water the other day, and I feel so upset. It never happened to me before! Jesus Christ… I quickly pulled it out and searched online for tips on how to save it. I dried it off and let it sit, but I’m worried about what might happen next. If I try to use it again, will it be safe? Has anyone else dealt with a soggy vape? Should I just toss it if it starts acting weird? Is there any water-proof models you’ve been tried from vaporesso?

Feel so sorry for you, here’s my experience, hope it work for you!!
- Shake out as much water as you can. Grab some paper towels and dry off everything you can reach
- DON’T use a hair dryer or microwave (seriously, just don’t!) just let it AIR DRY.
- Let it sit for at least 48 hours in a dry, warm spot. Keep it upright so water can drain out.
After waiting:
Make sure everything’s bone dry— Put it back together— If it works, great! But watch for any weird behavior, if it’s acting strange at all, time to retire it.
Look, I know vapes can be expensive, but if you notice any weird sounds, unusual heating, battery swelling, and strange smells. Just cut your losses and get a new one. Better safe than sorry - a new device is cheaper than a trip to the ER!

Same here. I just picked up a new vape after mine fell into the water. If the vape starts not turning on properly, giving off a burnt taste, or the battery is acting funky, it would be best to replace it. Water can cause short circuits and other damage. It is not very safe.
