The times are changing

I have always been one of these guys who claimed a vape should be left as a vape for what it was intended,

Reasons behind this view were due to keeping them simple as an aid to quit smoking preserve battery and to make them less appealing to underage users.

But even a fossil like me has to agree
Times are changing

While fancy themes and lighting ect make a vape aesthetically pleasant to the eye but that’s all they are aesthetic features.
After a while you pay no attention to them or forget they are there,
I generally turn these features off to conserve battery.

I had recently been given a couple of vapes to try of different brands and was impressed the screens were great it contained things you could actually use which would give great reason for users to choose a device with this potential.

But they were not vaperesso they lacked the finesse of a great product
lower battery capacity side fill pods and one although great flavour seemed to fail after around 500 puffs or coils just failed. Over cluttered menus making things confusing for new users.

But got me thinking.

People used to say why do I want a smartwatch I have a phone and a watch now the days of the old analogue watches seem limited as more ppl prefer smartwatches giving its features not just for keeping track of time.

So why not smart vapes ?

The devices I tried had clocks time and date on them
great for when on break from work you run outside for a vape can keep track of time for when break is almost up. No need for phone or a watch or reach for phone in pocket whatever.

But the clocks had full screen two presses brought you to menu screens puff counter wattage ect,not stuck in a corner so you could have different clock faces themes ect just like your phone.

They had a calendar on them although not sure what you’d use that for.

And a torch hmmm great for when in dimly lit places I guess or at a concert you could activate torch and hold up arm and wave like you see people do with their phones. even sneak a few puffs lol.

One even had a new face theme unlocks after each set amount of puffs this brings the gameplay to them.

This is something I’d like to see vaperesso adopt in future devices
I can see this as a game changer for today’s vape market,

Giving vaperessos reputation of great coils great batteries than don’t fail quickly after very limited charges a great reliable device.

So yes I have to agree some add ons are nice if usable for everyday use.
I can see more and more of other brands adopting this style in today’s marketplace.

I definitely agree that vapes could have extra options - I know exactly what you device you mean when it comes to having a clock on it, it looks smart enough but I’ve never had much luck with that particular brand when it comes to coil life so seeing something similar from Vaporesso would be lovely!

One thing I do wish all vapes had was built in ‘air tag’! I’m so bad at putting my vape down and forgetting where I left it so having an ‘air tag’ that can ping when called (maybe bluetooth connected to phone that can make noise like apple watches do when you tap the phone locator option?) would save me hours of looking for my vape time

It was actually a couple of brands
The first one the one your thinking of
Is the one who promotes the DNA chip it’s actually a temp chip where if you get the perfect draw you save it so it gives same result each draw to me that’s a gimmick and don’t sound good for the device meaning it’s inconsistent :winking_face_with_tongue:

They are new industry just started Nov 2019 but improving and becoming more popular.

The device I tried was awesome it was like the nano I loved the touch screen very responsive but as you said the coils suck pun intended lol great flavour but fade after 250 to 300 puffs the pods are small 2ml with side fill so only getting 1.5 to 1.75ml per fill and only sell replacements in packs of 3 you would need a fresh pod daily if a heavy hitter.

vaperesso you get 4 in a pack and more consistent no need for a dna chip the flavour stays throughout the life of coil.

The build quality was poor the one I had was leather which was badly marked and scored in the first 3 days of use.

With the vaperesso armour G after a couple months use still looks new.

The second device was like a box mod
Excellent features great big screen a 450mah battery this one had game feature unlock new face every 1000 puffs so you vape like a nut for a new face :joy:

Again not to vaperesso standard on build quality it was heavy slippy in hand and due to size of screen was easy marked

The pods were the worst no flavours
And the draw harsh like sucking a lemon .

I will always be a loyal vaperesso fan the only brand that help me quit the cigs so deserve my loyalty
Great build quality and the flavours from pod/coil can’t be matched by any other brand

I have never been a fan of the duck billed pods I’m not into kissing ducks all day lol I prefer round , cigarettes were round not flat hence why I love the armour G

The armour G along with the rest of vaperesso products keep the same puff and flavour until battery dies they don’t degrade when power gets low they just stop stating battery low one of the many reasons I stick with vaperesso

It would need be a superdooper device created by another brand maybe a bought house or flashy car to go with it to convince me to change brand lol

A great device is only great if matched with great pods/coils and vaperesso has achieved that but as stated above in original topic it could do with a few addons instead of lights and themes.

Strongly support VAPORESSO’s evolution in this direction and setting a benchmark for the industry.
