As someone who has vaped for a long time, I’ve learned a lot about vaping and found some of the terms used quite confusing. Today, I want to explain three important words: ML, Puffs, and mAh. Let’s make this simple, fun and easy to understand!
1.ML (Millilitres)What It Means: ML stands for millilitres, which is a way of measuring volume. In the vaping world, it’s used to measure the amount of e-liquid in a bottle or a cartridge.
Why It Matters: The number of millilitres (ml) tells you how much e-liquid you have. For example, a 30ml bottle will last longer than a 10ml bottle.
-
Puffs: What It Means A puff is when you inhale from your vape device. It works by drawing air through the device, which activates the heating element and turns the e-liquid into vapor.
Why It Matters: The number of puffs will tell you how long your e-liquid or battery will last. For example, a device with a 600-puff capacity means you can take 600 inhalations before needing to recharge or refill. -
mAh (Milliampere-hour)
What it means: mAh is a way to measure how much battery power a device has. It shows you how much power a battery can hold. For example, a 2000mAh battery can provide 2000 milliamperes of power for one hour.
Why It Matters: A higher mAh rating means the battery will last longer. If you vape a lot, you’ll need a device with a higher mAh rating to avoid having to recharge often.
Understanding these terms can help you make better choices when buying vaping products. Whether you’re looking for a long-lasting battery or a device with plenty of puffs, knowing the lingo will keep you ahead of the game.
