Hey everyone,
I just picked up a Vaporesso Xros 5 Mini with the 8.0Ω coil. The vape shop employee (and some of my research) said it should be a good alternative to the Geek Bar Pulse X, but honestly…it does not hit the same.
Now I’m wondering:
Am I doing something wrong with the setup?
Could it just be the e-juice I was sold?
Should I be using a different coil?
Or is the Xros 5 Mini just never going to match the Pulse X experience?
Right now it feels like I might have wasted my money because it doesn’t deliver the same satisfaction, and I’m getting tired of testing and spending more without answers.
So, if anyone here has actual experience switching from Geek Bar Pulse X to the Vaporesso Xros 5 Mini:
How did it compare for you?
Did you find a coil/juice setup that got closer to the Pulse X hit?
without knowing what liquid and nicotine strength you’ve gone for it’s really hard to pinpoint what the issue could be…
if you’ve gone for the same nicotine strength, you might need either the 0.6 coil (which Is looser airflow and more powerful) or you might need the 1.0 or 1.2 coil (depending on availability) for a tighter draw option.
Before giving up on it I’d try different coils options as well as possibly different brand liquid.
disposables will always feel slightly different to reusable devices but luckily the Xros comes with variety of coil options. you might need to play around with a combination of different coils with different airflow adjustments and different liquids to find what works for you.
Where do you live? I might be able to help out and recommend some liquid brands that feel close to the disposable flavours for you to try as well?
