A Guide to mixing or creating your own Eliquid

( long read but worth it )

Pics are for illustration only .

DIY mixing can save you money in the long run and fun
It also adds to the experience of vaping and creating more enjoyment giving you more knowledge what’s in that delicious juice and benefits of proper ratios here is an example if you purchase a ready mixed 100 ml shortfill mixed at 50/50 add two nic shots and the shot is PG based it’s now no longer 50/50 more like 70PG/30 VG making it more thinner and more chance of leaks.

So let’s get started what do I need .

It sounds daunting and complicated but it’s an easy process.

A lot of vape shops and online sellers sell DIY starter kits which include bottles of VG and PG bottles for mixing gloves ect , once you learn basics no need to keep buying these kits or just jump right in and purchase bottles of PG/VG mixing bottles 60/100 ml id recommend syringes and gloves,
Some people use scales to weigh the ingredients but syringes :syringe: are easier.

It’s costly at the start but saves you money in the long run plus it’s fun and more peace in mind knowing what’s in your juice you are inhaling

Then you need the flavours known as concentrates these can be bought as one flavour or as you advance and buy several flavours to create your own amazing flavours

!

When you buy the concentrate make sure you check out steep time and if PG based or VG based

And if you like nic in your mix Always try go for 50/50 base.

Then you can go online and use e- liquid calculators there’s loads to chose when you find one you like just bookmark it . (Example)

And start creating your own awesome tasty juices.

It’s simple and not as complicated as you thought.

Ratio examples explained.

The 50/50 PG and VG ratio is one of the most common ratios available, alluding to a good balance between flavour, throat hits, and cloud production. It is best used in low-voltage devices below 80 watts for producing bigger clouds but without overpowering flavours. The use of this ratio on high voltage systems (above 80 watts) can be trickier because it might burn the taste as PG (that carries the flavour) generally vapes at a lower temperature. However, this ratio is compatible with most standard vape devices . This ratio is also a good starting point for vapers who are just getting into DIY juice mixing!

The 70VG/30PG ratio is ideal for vapers who are more interested in the vapour production quality but still wish to feel a hint of flavour and nicotine rush from the e-liquid. It is ideal for sub-ohm vapers or high wattage systems. You won’t have to lower your power levels if you’re using this blend.

Max PG e-juice is the best for people looking to quit tobacco smoking. It provides the strongest throat hit and more flavour, but at the compromise of cloud intensity. Max PG means that this e-liquid contains the highest possible amounts of Propylene Glycol, giving your vape some serious kick while also preserving an intense amount of flavorful vapour; it’s perfect if you’re ready to finally give up cigarettes in favour of something less harsh on your lungs.

Told you long read but worth it.

Cheers visionary I forgot to add if you have PG/VG you can make a small bottle 50-50 no concentrate no nic just flavourless and use small amount in pod tank and vape it helps clean out tank, pod & coil to get rid of previous flavour .

Something else to boggle your minds lol and save you hard earned cash.

Vape liquid is made up of 3 ingredients
PG + VG+ Flavour ( concentrate )
Then your choice to add nicotine if you prefer

More and More people are turning to flavour free. And here is the main reasons .

Cost, preference, can vape in stealth (no smell)
And it’s as close to smoking you can get.

Examples on cost . I purchase 1 bottle of PG 500 ml one bottle of VG 500 ml 20 10ml bottles of salt nic cost £29 that is approx 36.63 USD gives 700 ml flavour free e-liquid

If I buy flavoured e-juice 10x10ml =100 ml 100ml of salt nic flavoured liquid at 5mg strength it costs me £22 ( 27.79 usd )

So in total for 700ml of flavoured liquid would cost £154 ( 194.64 usd ) and flavour free is £29
36.63 usd

Then take into account costs of coils /pods a flavour free liquid can make my pod/coil last approximately 1 month+ flavour juices can cost me around 1 or two pods/ coil a week due to sugars ect in the flavoured liquid.

And then how many times have we bought flavoured liquid and go yuk lol more wasted

With flavour free you can still enjoy big clouds the vaping experience the nic level hit .

It is like drinking water with a sweet taste .
When you smoked did you smoke fruit flavoured cigarettes as stated flavour free is as close to smoking you can get. With no added chemicals and sugars you get in flavoured liquids.

Thank you everyone glad you found topic interesting and hopefully encouraging as we know at least here in the UK disposables have reached the end of thier journey and banned here from June this year due to amount discarded in our streets and norm general waste and new systems are being developed to replace the disposables market and you could be a step ahead in learning to make your own liquids.
