What is the Best Material For Vape Coils?

Hey guys! In this video I discuss the differences, pros, and cons between 3 different types of coils.

Mesh coils, typically made out of Kanthal, have a larger surface area and can provide bigger clouds. They are better for DTL vaping styles. They also provide a smooth, consistent flavor due to the even heating of the coils.

Ceramic coils are typically better for MTL styles of vaping and provide a clean, pure flavor. While they may not put out as much vapor, they can provide a smoother throat hit since they can withstand higher temperatures without burning. May be a bit slower to heat up as well.

Stainless steel such as in the OXVA Xlim pro 2 can provide temperature control modes because of the temperature sensitive material. By detecting a rise in temperature, it can prevent the coil from overheating and getting dry hits with the use of a DNA chip. Stainless steel also provides durable long lasting coils.

What is your favorite material of coil? Would you try any other material of coil that you previously have not tried? Let me know!

I didn’t like the stainless steel the flavour was just not there and they seem to create a warm vape go through juice more

The mesh has always been my fav for flavour and great clouds

Never got to try ceramic as the GTI ceramic coils don’t seem to be available here in the uk

But I’d imagine great flavour longer life and cooler vape as ceramic could disperse the heat more.
