Hello UVers, we always talk about vaping flavor, clouds, and coils — but have you ever stopped to think about what’s really shaping that smooth hit or thick cloud?
That’s right — your VG/PG ratio might be the hidden game-changer.
Higher VG (Vegetable Glycerin) = thicker vapor, smoother inhale, less throat hit. Perfect for cloud chasers.
Higher PG (Propylene Glycol) = stronger flavor, sharper throat hit, and quicker nicotine delivery. More like a classic cigarette feel.
But here’s where it gets interesting — some users swear that even a small tweak, like 70/30 vs 60/40, totally changes their vape experience. Others say it barely matters if your coil and wattage are tuned right.
So what’s your take? Have you found your “sweet spot” ratio for the best balance between flavor and vapor?
Or do you think it’s all hype and the device matters more than the juice mix?
Drop your thoughts, setups, and favorite combos below — let’s compare notes and see if there’s a true “golden ratio.”
Depends on the e-liquid you get bar juices, juices with stronger concentrated flavours for pods there is no difference that’s noticeable in flavours between 60-40/70-30 also the change between salt nic and freebase nic also plays a part in the throat hit.
You can feel only a slight barely noticeable flavour and throat hit for freebase liquids depending on which nic you choose salt/freebase.
Only main difference I’d say is coil choices 70-30 requires coils to handle higher wattage
60-40 uses same coils as 50-50.
And also would depend on device pods give stronger flavour than tanks.
I’d would also go as far as saying 70-30 even 80-20 is more suited to dtl users as the thicker liquids require a deeper draw it’s more aimed at creating bigger clouds as opposed to flavours on higher wattages
50-50 and 60-40 is more suited for rtl and mtl users to savour the flavours more than creating bigger clouds. On lower wattages.
