Hey fellow vapers! The U.S. and China finally reached a deal to lower those insane tariffs on Chinese goods!
Remember how prices shot up when the rates hit 150% ? Now that the trade war’s cooling off, I’m wondering: Will our favorite vapes finally get cheaper again?
What Happened Before?
- Prices skyrocketed—some brands hiked costs by 30-50% to cover the tariffs.
- Supply chain chaos—some U.S. vendors stopped stocking Chinese-made devices, and smaller brands struggled to stay afloat.
- Workarounds—big companies like SMOORE shifted production to Indonesia & Malaysia to dodge tariffs.
Will Prices Drop Now?
- Maybe, but not instantly. Even if tariffs ease, brands might wait to see if the changes stick before adjusting prices.
- Some savings could come soon—especially for devices & mods where Chinese manufacturing dominates.
- **E-liquids? To be honest, I don’t know much about the e-liquid market. Is there any knowledgeable person who can analyze it for us?
What Do You Think?
- Have you noticed any price drops yet?
- Or are you sticking with alternative brands that moved production?
Personally, I’m keeping an eye on my usual online shops—hoping my go-to pod kits get a discount soon.
Let’s share updates if we spot any changes!

Tariffs or no tariffs, I doubt prices will drop significantly. Companies got used to charging more, and I don’t see them giving up those profits easily. We’ll see, but I’m not too hopeful.

I’ve been waiting for this! Hopefully, this means I can finally afford my favorite pods again without breaking the bank. Fingers crossed that the savings are passed down to us consumers.

Wasn’t there a pause on tariffs for 90 days ? They didn’t really implement them and they reached a deal before the 90 days xpired a lot of retailers will use this as an excuse to increase the prices to give them bigger profits.

Totally makes sense. Once you’ve tasted the sweetness, it’s hard to go back. haha
Ohhhh no… It seems that I only saw the surface of this news. No matter what, retailers still can get the most profit.
Exactly, the capital market only considers how much money can be made first.

The only way to beat those retailers is to monitor the greedy ones charging the extortionate prices and boycott them for any future purchases they rip you off once they lose a good customer then they lose in the long run .

Don’t know why, but in my area, the prices don’t seem to have changed much. Instead, some store owners will do some buy-two-get-one-free promotions.

Totally agree. These market disruptors shouldn’t be allowed to get too comfortable.

Yes, the owners have the right to set their own prices. It seems that the stores you visit are all high-quality ones with a long-term vision.
Shops here are clearing shelves buy 2 get 5 lol due to uk ban.
That’s one hell of a bargain.
after ban kicks in 5th of June they can’t sell them then got to pay to dispose the old stock so hoping their crazy sales will clear stock before ban kicks in
.
This shows how huge their profit margins are. lol
