I’ve been on disposables for a long time, mostly because they were simple and no thinking required. Recently the cost started adding up, so I decided to finally try an open pod system and picked up the XROS 5.
First thing I noticed was how familiar it felt. No learning curve, no complicated settings — fill the pod, let it sit a bit, and you’re good to go. The draw is smooth and consistent, way cleaner than most disposables I’ve used, and the flavor actually lasts instead of dropping off after a day or two.
Battery life has been solid for my daily use, and not having to worry about charging every few hours is a big plus. I also like that I can switch pods and flavors instead of being stuck with one taste until it’s done.
Overall, as someone coming straight from disposables, XROS 5 feels like an easy upgrade rather than a hassle. Wish I’d made the switch earlier, honestly.
