🎃 Spooky Season Movie Marathon

It’s that time of year when the air gets crisp, the leaves turn, and we crave things that go bump in the night! If you’re looking to get into the Halloween spirit, there’s no better way than a classic horror movie night.

I’ve put together a little list of my go-to films, sorted by vibe. Grab your candy corn, turn down the lights, and choose your poison!

:ghost: The Classics & Slashers
These are the foundational fears—the icons of horror.

  • Halloween (1978): You can’t have a Halloween list without Michael Myers. The definition of atmospheric slasher.
  • A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984): Freddy Krueger will make you afraid to fall asleep.
  • The Exorcist (1973): Still one of the most terrifying films ever made. Brave souls only.

:woman_mage: Supernatural & Witchy**
For when you want ghosts, demons, and things that can’t be explained.

  • The Conjuring (2013): Modern classic with some of the best jump scares of the last decade.
  • Hereditary (2018): A slow-burn, deeply unsettling family tragedy that will haunt you for days.
  • The Witch (2015): “Wouldst thou like to live deliciously?” A chilling, atmospheric pilgrimage into folk horror.

:skull: Trick 'r Treat Vibes**
The perfect anthologies and movies that feel like Halloween.

  • Trick 'r Treat (2007): This IS the Halloween movie. It captures the spirit, the rules, and the fun of the holiday perfectly.
  • Beetlejuice (1988): For when you want more spooky than scary. A hilarious and ghoulishly fun time.

So, what are you watching? Did I miss your favorite?

Tag a friend you’d survive a horror movie with (or who would trip you first! :eyes:).
