Everyone who picks up a guitar has their own story. There’s always that first song you try to learn,sometimes it’s simple, sometimes it’s more challenging. Either way, everyone starts somewhere.
For me my first song to learn was Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect.” I chose it because it sounded nice and the chords weren’t too hard for a beginner like me. I still remember feeling proud when I finally managed to play it, even though it wasn’t perfect at first.
Then came Canon Rock. That song is seriously tough. The fast pace and tricky riffs make it hard to play perfectly. Even after practicing for a while, I still can’t get through it the way I want to. But that’s part of the fun and challenge of learning guitar.

I been playing for years I even played in local band who played clubs pubs, I remember buying guitar and the leaflet enclosed in guitar box showed a few chords I tried them and figured it is too hard lol and put it away .
I eventually I went to local music store and bought a book called guitar lessons for complete beginners came with a cd for tuning tones ect, there was 4 books in total it would show one chord you played over and over for at least an hour a night once perfected without the buzzing or vibration of incorrect fingers on the fret board and you could do it without looking.
You then learn a second chord and so forth until you learned several chords this was to train fingers slacking them off and harden the skin on fingertips,
I remember having fun Trying to perfect the redemption track by Bob Marley getting the base run perfect on intro of the track.
Nowadays I hear a tune and within a few mins can play it as in time it does get very easy and ears trained to which chords any artist is playing, it got to the point when an artist performs you concentrate more on the music rather than the singer.

The first instrument I came into contact with was the classical guitar, and the first song I learned was “Romance De Amor”. Later, I came into contact with the folk guitar and found that the varied chords of the folk guitar could better inspire a free soul.
