Nicotine-Free Vaping: What's the Appeal? Let's Discuss!

Hey vape fam! :waving_hand: With more brands rolling out 0mg nicotine options, it got me thinking: Is nicotine really essential to vaping?

We all know many users rely on e-cigs for nicotine satisfaction, but clearly there’s a growing market for nic-free vaping. So… why go zero?

Possible Reasons:

  • Flavor chasing – Without nicotine’s peppery bite, some e-liquids taste cleaner/more vibrant.
  • Habit replacement – The hand-to-mouth ritual, minus the addiction.
  • Cloud enthusiasts – Pure VG/PG = thicker vapor for tricks/chasing.
  • Gradual quitting – Stepping down from nicotine entirely.

The Bigger Question:

Does this shift mean vaping’s value is expanding beyond nicotine delivery? Are we seeing it more as a flavor/experience hobby now?

Your thoughts?

  • Do you use 0mg juices? Why/why not?
  • Could you enjoy vaping without nicotine?

Let’s debate! Maybe the future of vaping isn’t just about the nic. :dashing_away:

Random kinda related story. So I usually buy from a vape shop that throws in a free 0% mg liquid as a way to try to new flavors.
BUT, they included a brand with a flavor which I already had a huge stock of in a package I ordered.
Thus, I didnt realize that I had a 0mg liquid in my haul. Restocked my box with liquids, and put the 0mg with the others that had the same brand.
At some point I had to grab a new bottle to refill my vape, and I picked the 0mg. Didnt realize it was 0mg so I happily vaped away.
At some point I got grumpy, and when I went to bed I was rolling around in bed unable to sleep for HOURS.
After a crappy night I woke up, vaped the pod empty and went for a refill, and only then I realized I was vaping 0 mg LOL..
Had a good laugh and refilled my vape with proper nic juice and all my problems went away

I see this as another gimmick by the brands that sold disposables with high nic now they are selling with nic free is this to win over Governments?
So they may continue selling disposables.

Freebase liquids has always been zero nic you add the nic to it so in a way it’s not new.

The flavours are stronger though due to double concentration but you can buy freebase made for pods tastes just as good.

I use low nic 3mg sometimes less I’ve tried 0 nic and ended up vaping more but I think it’s a mindset as it don’t feel the same something missing so ended up putting nic back in it lol

That’s true. When I vape zero-nicotine disposables, I always feel like not enough, so I keep vaping, which also causes me to have dry mouth very easily.

Your market made the right choice

Maybe, but I don’t use zero nic dispos or e juice.
