โ the landscape of vaping, youth use, and how products are moving in the U.S. is wild right now.
Hereโs the tea
:
Flavor vapes still dominate โ Nearly all teens (13โ17 yrs old) who vape are using flavored products โ not boring tobacco tastes. That means fruity / dessert / candy vibes are still pulling people in hard.
Disposable devices are everywhere โ The vast majority of vaping products on the market are one-time use, cheap, and packed with nicotine.
Nicotine bags are growing FAST โ Their sales nearly tripled, and usage among high schoolers is trending upward.
Overall youth vaping is lower than the 2019 peak โ but usage is still super concerning, especially with high-nicotine products and new delivery formats.
Many products are still unauthorized/illegal โ That means a huge chunk of whatโs out there hasnโt actually been approved, yet itโs circulating everywhere.
So hereโs the question for this community:
With flavors and nicotine products evolving faster than regulations can keep up โ
Is the industry doing enough to self-police?
Are kids really safer than they were a few years ago?
Or are we just shifting where the real risks lie?
Drop your thoughts. ![]()
