Hi Joe welcome to the community alternative to what ? Do you mean devices ? Which device(s) are you using presently.
I’m using disposables, used to be a tank vaper with a mod and tank and all. Wanting to come back to a pod type system to get fresh coils and choose the juice that suits me, like less nicotine. Also trying to vape my dry herbs, not sure if vapresso has a solution for that one?
There’s several vapresso awesome pod systems look up the new lux xr max 2 it is a pod system 80 watt device takes gtx coils for great flavour look in the vaperesso store at all the devices available will give you better idea if you prefer putting in own coils then the lux , armour , and gen series if just switching from disposable then the pods with fixed coils is a great option that would be the xcross series.

I am afraid. If you want to vape dry herbs, most of devices are unable to heat the temputure.
