Been using the VAPORESSO ARMOUR ULTRA for a while now, and honestly, it’s one of the most solid mods I’ve tried recently. Here’s what stands out — and what’s not perfect:
What’s Good:
• The 5500 mAh built-in battery is wild — feels like you’ve got two 18650s in one. VAPORESSO claims up to 3 days of use; in real life I’m pretty close when I’m not pushing full power.
• Rugged build: certified IP68 / IP69K + MIL-STD-810H, so this thing survived a few bumps + splashes without blinking.
• Powerful yet compact: Fires up to 100 W, but it feels much lighter than you’d expect for a tank built mod.
• Multiple power modes: Boost gives a punchy first hit, Pulse is more balanced, Eco saves power, and there’s even Temp Control.
• Flavor is seriously good: paired with the iTank T and GTi dual mesh coils, the vapor is smooth and consistent.
What’s Not So Great:
• It’s not a lightweight brick — with the tank, the weight is noticeable.
• The battery is built-in, so you can’t swap it out easily.
• For ultra high-watt cloud chasers, 100W is solid, but not mind-blowing.
If you’re into DTL vaping and want something rugged that actually lasts, the ARMOUR ULTRA is a beast. It’s made for real use — commuting, outdoor days, or just long sessions without worrying about charging all the time.
For anyone thinking of upgrading from a weaker mod or looking for something that doesn’t need daily charging — this one’s definitely worth considering.
