My take on devices

Here is my take on 4 of Vaporesso devices the xcross pro, lux xr Max , Armour G and Armour S.

Each individual who vapes is different and has different tastes and expectations so to cater for each individual different devices are created so here is my own personal take on these devices I have tried.

Over the years I have tried several brands so what I feel is great experience from my own perspective.

The vaping scene exploded with the introduction of disposables the case of buying a pre-filled device no fuss already charged devices small and sleek full of double concentrated flavours this left a dilemma in the market for those producing refillable devices trying to win consumers over and convince them refillable is better on the pocket and the environment now that market of disposables is losing it’s appeal due to countries banning them due to environmental issues and control of nicotine strengths ect,

Vaperesso is the only one brand that help me kick the nasty cigs due to being able to taste those awesome flavours with the best coils on the market and to produce great clouds whenever the notions took me for huge clouds and I will be a loyal fan hopefully for years to come as it continues to improve. The creation of different devices and shapes to cater for every whim.

So let’s start with the xcross pro I constantly rave about a no fuss device Max 30 watts with built in super pulse.precise power adjustment if using a 0.4ohm pod ( can adjust wattage manually up-to 30 watts ) wide array of 2ml/3ml pods built in coils compatible with all xcross series giving eco , norm, power settings on pods smart mode detection of detected coil/pod for optimal wattage ,The sleek compact design.
The fast charging and 1200mAh battery I thought I lost one so purchased a second as I couldn’t do without now I own two lol

Now here is the niggles I personally feel need improvement ( already discussed in another post about upcoming xcross 5 )

If mouthpiece cracked or not seated properly it can leak liquid into device leaving device unusable.

Having to throw away a perfect pod to change coil is a waste and impacts environment.

No menu to turn pulse mode on/off or mention of it in menu.
But then it is just to be a simple device making menu easy it is on auto.

Only device wattage adjustments capable on 0.4 ohm coil/pod call it genius mode if you like where you can adjust wattage manually on any pod other than 0.4ohm giving options of turning off norm ,eco, power settings.

But only niggles not a deal breaker as I’d buy another if I needed replacing.

Next up is the Lux Xr Max
Max 80 watts
Ultra high density battery at 2800 mAh on the fantastic gtx coils. Compatibility on other devices.

Awesome device creates great dense clouds, amazing flavour can last a day or more usage depending on wattage used if using 50-50 liquids I love this device as being able to use 70-30 liquids as most shorfills are nowadays I use a 0.2 Ohm coil at 55 watts 2 hours usage I use 50% battery power so as an experienced vaper I always carry two devices when outdoors so not to be caught short ,
The ability to change coils instead of complete pod also easy clean pod with 2mil/3 mil capacity available but no mention of pulse mode, fast charging nice display and breath mode with light effects.

My personal niggles with this device
unable to change coils if pod is full if coil burns out and contains liquid turn over pod to remove coil the juice then runs out mouthpiece turn upright your covered in juice through aperture coil sits , this results in gurgling spitting of juice and mouth full of e liquid.

My new fav Armour G
3000mAh mega battery as with all devices mentioned they all have the Axon chip. This one has a top airflow adjustment so fingers can’t block airflow and top filling no need to remove pod to fill ,the body is covered in a nice leatherette giving great grip also uses the awesome gtx coils has 3 theme options and great streamlined lights down left and right of the sides near display of making this look like a superior device much like the lux xr max it has 80 watts max the device usage to the lux is much the same but can turn pulse on off if required can change themes from racing car , general and rim turn off/on turn smart mode on/off eco/pulse animations on off shape size how it fits in hand seems a better fit for me it’s like a cross mod/pod the tip is of mod style the round tube as opposed to flat mouthpiece pod availability is 2mil 5 mil separate pods same as lux max for dtl/mil if I were to lose the lux max which is a awesome device sorry to say I’d replace with armour G as better fit for me love how it feels in hand. Also comes in armour GS model which has separate 18650 batteries not built in battery advantage carrying fully charged battery for replacement when out if need fresh power although device is slightly bigger.

My niggles with this device same as lux xr if pod full of liquid you can’t change coils without liquid spill.

But again not a deal breaker
I only mention this issue on coil change as I had a tank from aspire Nautilus 3 that allows change of coil while tank full as it had internal sleeve that slid down internally to seal tank on removal of coil to seal it from spillage and slid back up as you inserted fresh coil. Hopefully in time Vaporesso will incorporate this design in their devices.

Ok last up armour s

This is a mod max 100 watts
Armoured protection 18650/21700 batteries. The it tank 2 with protective sleeve to protect glass
Uses a wide array of gti coils.

The tank is big on a 2/mil glass can get 5 mil / 8 mil glass it is huge

There are those out there who prefer mods of this type sadly not for me
It’s big heavy only an hour into use I cracked glass on tank I prefer small sleeker lighter devices. As only 20 watts difference from lux xr max and armour G I will stick with those sorry to say

And it has a big brother the armour max which is 220 watts power awesome menu on both as like all vapresso devices uses the awesome Corex design coils for flavour.

This is only based on my usage and preference of these devices and don’t let it sway you in anyway as with all Vaporesso products there is great design and craftsmanship in each product.

My go to devices are xcross pro I can use indoor for stealth vaping on 50-50 liquid my outdoor devices are lux xr max and new fav Armour G.

Good health to all happy vaping create clouds don’t live in one lol .

As someone who’s only just getting into refillable devices after using disposables, this was super helpful. I’ve been enjoying my XROS Pro so far, and your thoughts really confirmed it’s a solid choice.

nice hope i can try that one

Something I may add it may upset some people but I feel it has to be said from my viewpoint and perspective.

Q. What is a vape ?

A. It is a device you use to vape E-liquid with nicotine to help the cravings and to replace the nasty cigs to help with withdrawal and to aid quitting.

Q. Is vaping better than smoking?.

A. Yes you can create huge clouds enjoy tons of different flavours absorb nicotine quicker

I am old school to me a vape should be reliable a great looking build great flavours from that awesome liquid great long lasting coils a tank or pod that can hold ample amount of liquid easy coil change a vape with a good battery to last all day great wattage so you can vape different liquid ratios and a good coil range to alter your vaping , after all it’s a vape to serve it’s purpose.

But Vapers have changed they want Bluetooth to adjust your vape wattage on phone to locate lost devices to be able to see how much liquid is left in Device .

My take on that is Bluetooth will only add more usage on battery
You’d have to mess with phone before vaping lol time wasted
If you wanna adjust wattage use the device ya lazy buggers lol :joy:
If you want to check liquid level
Look at tank or pod ya lazy buggers :joy:
If wanna use use it to find devices
Buy a lanyard or stick an air tag to it .

Puff counters does people use them ?
To me they unreliable as people take different lengths of puffs if I take a 2 second puff or 1 second puff it’s still classed as one puff.
As I said in another post knowing how many puffs is like counting how many sips a coffee you take from a cup of coffee lol
It’s like having someone look over your shoulder saying you’re vaping too much.

Next subject of themes yes they are nice for about 5 mins then you forget they are there

If I’m out walking I take vape from pocket take a drag or two and replace in pocket I don’t stand looking at it saying awww that’s cool lol

If I’m on a break at work I stand outside pull vape from pocket take a few drags then replace to pocket I don’t stand and admire it lol :joy:

If I’m in back garden it gets left on table I randomly pick up take a few drags and replace to table I don’t sit and admire it lol

Next thing you will see ppl asking for tv control from vapes or to be able to program their coffee machines lol.

A vape should be a nice looking solid reliable build great tasting long lasting coils a simple screen for the necessary adjustments wattage batt level power level eco norm pulse whatever all that is relevant to your vaping all the extras added only reduces font to fit it all on screen then you can’t see it
The more added the more chance something fails all added extras only put strain on battery less is more .

Good health to all happy vaping don’t live in the clouds create them.

Well hopefully it will help a few at present im trying to see how easy it is to burn out a coil on the armour g to see if someone makes incorrect wattage selection lol im at 50 watts the max is 32 watts on a 0.4phm coil and 2 hrs in it’s still going strong :joy:

Ok it lasted just over 3 hrs :joy:but probably cause I overheated it vaping like a maniac lol but goes to show how robust these coils are I wanted to see how long it would last if someone used incorrect wattage :joy:
