Alright folks, FlavourMaster here with a real-world breakdown of the new Geekbar Pulse X — the latest flashy contender trying to impress both cloud chasers and casuals alike.
First Impressions & Packaging
So, the box is very Geekbar — bold fonts, feature-heavy callouts, kind of screams “Look at me!”. Inside, you get a flavor card that’s actually useful (I know, shocker), especially if you’re picky with your profiles. The device comes in a vacuum-sealed bag that’s… industrial, not luxury. But hey, it does the job.
The Interface
This is where things get spicy. The Pulse X sports two different modes — Regular and Pulse — and switches it up with dynamic lighting effects that look like someone mashed together a music visualizer and a vape screen. It’s wild. Some folks might find the flashing UI a bit extra, but I’ll admit it’s fun — especially in low light. Also, the big “X” lock button? Surprisingly intuitive once you get the hang of it.
Real-World Usability
Draw-wise, this thing hits hard. You’ll get thick clouds in Pulse mode — easily one of the denser disposables out there. Airflow and draw resistance are nicely tuned. I did notice the battery indicator is a big win; 3-level display feels like a step toward smarter disposables.
One thing though… It’s bulky. If you’re used to slimmer sticks, this won’t slide into your skinny jeans unnoticed. And you can’t hit it while charging, which still feels like a miss in 2025.
Charging & Build
It’s Type-C and charges quickly, but the device itself is heavy — we’re talking 27.4g (Regular) and 35.3g (Pulse). For reference, that’s more than a Juul + a backup pod. So if you’re looking for stealth, maybe not your go-to.
Flavour Corner
Sadly I didn’t get to dive into all the flavors (yet), but they’ve got a cool internal flavor guide in the box to show intensity, cooling, and sweetness. It’s like Pokémon stats but for juice. I tried two: Orange Fcuking Fab (surprisingly punchy) and Alt Mint (cooling’s a bit much). Interested to know if the “Cool Bomb” lives up to its name — anyone tried it?
Verdict?
If you’re into a techy, bold design and want a device that feels like a gadget, the Pulse X is fun. It’s not trying to be sleek or discreet — it’s more like the vape you bring to a festival. Not perfect, but definitely interesting.
So… who else has tried it? What flavors are a hit or miss? Anyone feel like the Pulse mode drains battery too quick? Let’s hear it.
