In the fast-evolving DTL product landscape, performance has always been the focus. Yet as the competition intensifies, we began asking ourselves — when performance reaches its peak, what truly defines a great product?
Our answer is simple: Reliability.
The creation of Armour Ultra represents our determination to redefine the boundaries of protection in DTL devices.
1.Market Insights: Triple Protection Is No Longer Enough
During the early planning phase, we conducted extensive research on mainstream DTL devices across the market.
We found that most of them are equipped with triple protection technologies — waterproof, dustproof, and drop-resistant, and some even meet the IP68 standard.
However, real-world usage tells a different story.
Users continue to face the same issues:
- Short battery life and long charging time, limiting continuous use;
- Bulky and heavy design, reducing portability;
- Insufficient resistance to high-pressure water or extreme environments.
In short, the current “triple protection” standard offers only basic protection. What users truly need is a DTL device that can endure complex, changing environments with absolute reliability.
2.Product Strategy: From Triple to Quad Protection
With these insights in mind, we set out to push beyond the existing limits of protection.
Armour Ultra introduces an all-new military-grade “Quad Protection” system, featuring a breakthrough IP69K rating — resistant to high-temperature and high-pressure water jets.
This means Armour Ultra can withstand direct water jets up to 80°C, maintaining full functionality even under extreme water pressure and temperature.
From heavy rain and cleaning scenarios to hot and humid outdoor conditions, the device remains stable and fully protected.
With the addition of this fourth layer of protection, Armour Ultra transforms from a conventional waterproof device into a truly rugged, all-environment DTL system that users can rely on anywhere.
