After my last post about the ARMOUR ULTRA, our friend Eddie @Eddiemcg asked to see a size comparison with the other two devices in the ARMOUR series—so here it is!
I already own the ARMOUR ULTRA and the ARMOUR G, but to make the comparison more complete, I borrowed an ARMOUR S from my cousin (who’s now also planning to upgrade to the ARMOUR ULTRA, lol).
First off, in terms of size, it’s clear that the ARMOUR ULTRA sits right between the S and the G. What really surprised me is that its narrow side is just as slim as the ARMOUR G—pretty impressive!
When it comes to grip and weight, no surprise—the ARMOUR G, being a pod mod, is the lightest and most portable of the three. But let’s focus on the ULTRA and the S. I’ve got to admit, VAPORESSO wasn’t exaggerating: the ULTRA is noticeably lighter than the S with an external battery. You can really feel the difference holding them.
Plus, the more compact mod design of the ULTRA makes a huge difference in comfort—it fits snugly in the hand and just feels right. For someone with small hands like me, it’s pretty much perfect.
On top of that, I personally prefer the ULTRA’s overall look. Compared to the S, which uses more rubberized material, the ULTRA delivers a kind of refined toughness that really stands out.
