Released back in 2016, Zootopia instantly captivated audiences with its incredibly imaginative world—a place where animals of all shapes and sizes not only coexist harmoniously but also build a society that mirrors our own.

From tiny mice to ambitious bunny cops, every character has a role, making Zootopia feel like a real, functioning world, complete with power dynamics and diverse careers just like in human society.

So what makes this movie resonate so powerfully across the globe?

As shared by Bush, Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios:
**“There’s something about animals that people can read themselves into. The real fun thing about Zootopia is that you can identify with an animal. That’s you, that’s your friend, that’s your teacher, that’s a guy you saw at the DMV. There’s something very universal about that.”**

Through its clever storytelling and relatable animal characters, Zootopia doesn’t just entertain—it reflects us, our society, and the world we live in.
