Hey everyone! Let’s talk about something that affects every vaper but isn’t always well understood: **coil resistance**. Whether you’re new to vaping or have been at it for years, knowing the basics can really improve your experience.

**What is Coil Resistance?**
Measured in ohms (Ω), resistance determines how much electrical current flows through your coil. Lower resistance (sub-ohm, below 1.0Ω) allows more current, producing warmer vapor and bigger clouds. Higher resistance (above 1.0Ω) uses less power, resulting in cooler vapor and a tighter draw.

**Why Does It Matter?**

- **Lower Resistance (0.15Ω - 0.8Ω)** : Ideal for Direct-to-Lung (DL) vaping. Works best with high-VG e-liquids and higher wattages.
- **Higher Resistance (1.0Ω - 1.8Ω)** : Suited for Mouth-to-Lung (MTL) vaping. Pairs well with high-PG e-liquids and lower wattages.

**Pro Tips:**

- Always check your device’s recommended resistance range.
- Match your e-liquid (VG/PG ratio) and wattage to your coil for optimal flavor and coil longevity.
