# Burnt Coil? Don’t Panic – Here’s How to Fix It!

Hey new vapers! 👋 Nothing ruins your day like that **awful burnt taste** —it means your coil is likely toast. But don’t worry, here’s how to handle it like a pro:

### **🔥 Why It Happens**

- **Chain vaping** (not letting the cotton re-saturate)
- **Low e-liquid** (vaping on an empty tank)
- **High wattage** (overpowering your coil’s rating)

### **🛠 Quick Fixes**

✅ **Prime your coil** : Always soak new coils for **5-10 mins** before use.  
✅ **Lower the wattage** : Check your coil’s recommended range (e.g., 15-25W). Start at the **lowest end** and adjust up.  
✅ **Avoid dry hits** : Keep your tank at least **1/3 full**.

### **💡 Salvaging a Slightly Burnt Coil**

If it’s _just_ starting to taste off:

1. Drip a few **drops of e-liquid** directly into the coil.
2. Take **short, gentle puffs** (no fire button) to pull juice into the cotton.
3. Try vaping at a **lower temp**.
