ARMOUR ULTRA: Built Like an Armor

Hey everyone, I’m Eric, a CMF engineer at VAPORESSO. Here is story of choosing the right for Armour Ultra, and hope you guys enjoy it!

When we started designing the Armour Ultra, we had one clear goal — to make it strong from the inside out.
Not just a device that passes protection tests, but one that feels solid, tough, and reliable from the first touch.

01 / Materials: The First Layer of Defense

We began with materials. The Armour Ultra uses a reinforced metal frame combined with a high-strength polycarbonate (PC) shell. It’s a “hard-outside, flexible-inside” structure — the metal provides rigidity, while the PC absorbs impact when dropped.

This balance gives the device both durability and lightness. You can feel that it’s solid in hand, yet still easy to carry.

02 / Every Structure Has a Purpose

Every part of the structure was designed with protection in mind. Take the corner bumpers, for example — they’re not just for looks. Each angle and curve was tested to help disperse shock on impact.
Those bold, strong lines you see on the device? They’re not only aesthetic choices — they’re results of mechanical logic.

03 / Texture and Feel: Protection You Can Sense

We wanted the Armour Ultra to look strong, but also feel secure. That’s why we used a matte, fine-textured coating on the surface.

It resists scratches, adds grip, and doesn’t slip even when your hand sweats. That slightly rugged, armor-like finish — it’s not just visual design; it’s part of the user experience.

04 / When Design Becomes a Language of Protection

For us, protection isn’t only about technical standards. It’s a design language — one that speaks through materials, texture, and geometry.

When you pick up the Armour Ultra, you instantly know it’s stable, strong, and built to last —
without needing anyone to tell you.
